Sokode Basketball Club (SBC) is a group interested in helping the young ones through basketball. Considering the current development in the society, SBC intends to better the system by introducing basketball.
Basketball is a team sport that  develops Personal and Social values(commitment, perseverance, team work, respecting the rules, respecting others, personal responsibility within group), develops psychological resources of individuals( perception of control, self confidence, self control, self concept and self esteem ), and also enhances the health of players.

We all need these to succeed in life. Which is why we teach people how to live through basketball hence our motto: Basketball Teaches Life (BTL).

The club strives to offer one of the most dynamic basketball programmes in the state with a structured approach which builds confidence in each player and acts as a positive stepping-stone in developing successful people in the community.
