Despite all the troubles at home, school, work and wherever, the young ones always make time to play for the thrills. June 11, 2019 has its own history and here it comes.


Many of the kids were available but  a few of them by name; prosper, Hornam, Bless, Elijah was particularly fond of today's shooting drills.  They enjoyed the hoop. It wasn't the usual hoop that stood about 12 feet from the ground. It was a new one, an Improvised one - a token of ingenuity necessitated by the decrepit limbs of the young kids.

Their whole life, they have been meaning to shoot ball into a hoop 12 feet high. It has indeed been an ordeal for them. Looking at it from a child's angle, an adult will be shooting into relatively 20 feet high hoop, with an 8 pound ball. This is hard.

To lessen this trying experience, the ball net was held high above as hoop for this kids to shoot inside. It proved way easier for them like standard hoop does for some of us. This hoop was about 6 foot plus high which properly suit kids of their age. It is termed mini basketball(basketball for ages below 9) .

The made a lot of shots which we couldn't keep track of nor them. They relentlessly and excitedly kept shooting till his(net holder) arms began to fail him. So the drills came to a stop.
